Job summary

Cygni Energy in Hyderabad (TS) seeks a Production Supervisor/Manager to lead PPC activities in a battery manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes planning, material coordination, and shopfloor execution to drive output and quality.

The ideal candidate has PPC experience in Li‑ion or lead‑acid battery production, with a strong focus on process optimization, safety, and ISO/5S compliance. The position is on site at Maheshwaram.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-4 years PPC experience in battery manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: create daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on sales forecast, orders and capacity.
• Material Planning: coordinate with Stores/Purchase for RM, components, separators, electrolyte, BMS; ensure no stock-outs and track inventory & WIP.
• Capacity & Line Balancing: monitor bottlenecks in coating, calendaring, winding, formation; optimize OEE and line efficiency.
• Shopfloor Coordination: work with Production, Quality, Maintenance to meet targets and manage breakdowns/changeovers.
• MIS & Reporting: generate daily production reports, variance analysis, OEE and scrap %; share with Plant Head & management.
• NPD/Change Management: support new product trials, pilot runs and engineering change notes for battery variants.
• Compliance: follow safety, 5S, ISO procedures; maintain documentation for audits.

This Role:

We are looking for a skilled Manager in Production. Control of all assembly operational aspects including production, plant production development, health & safety within assigned. P olicy guidelines to drive the performance of key result areas on production activities and continuous implementation monitoring.

Responsible for market development, and operational sales work with assigned Key Accounts. Leads sales and product management efforts to assigned Automotive Key Accounts. Leads the selling process for all battery products. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts. Leverages relationship between customer, market and Cygni management. Analyses feasibility of technical specs in RFQ’s.

What you’ll Get to Do:
