Job summary

CYGNI Energy, headquartered in Hyderabad (Telangana), seeks an Engineer - Quality to lead shop floor quality and ensure compliance with IATF 16949. You will perform PDI, FQC, and in-process inspections and drive documentation and control plans.

Experience in battery manufacturing and knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and 7 QC Tools are preferred. You will collaborate with HOD and production teams to reduce costs and improve quality.

Qualifications

• BTech/BE in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• 3–4 years of quality experience, preferably in battery/Li-ion/lead-acid manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality systems and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• PDI inspection as per customer specification.
• FQC inspection as per control plan.
• In-process inspection as per control plan.
• Maintain records and documents per IATF 16949:2016.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment on the shop floor.
• Root cause analysis for cost of poor quality.
• Any other assignments from HOD.

Responsible for market development, and operational sales work with assigned Key Accounts. Leads sales and product management efforts to assigned Automotive Key Accounts. Leads the selling process for all battery products. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts. Leverages relationship between customer, market and Cygni management. Analyses feasibility of technical specs in RFQ’s.

What you’ll Get to Do:

Responsibilities:

• Carry out PDI inspection as per Customer specification.


• Carry out FQC inspection as per control plan


• Carry out in process inspection as per control plan


• Responsible for maintaining records and documents as per IATF 16949:2016 requirement.


• Calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment’s in Quality


• Root cause analysis for cost of poor quality on shop floor


• Any other assignments given by HOD

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Quality Control and Manufacturing Processes.


• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto is preferred.


• Basic understanding of IATF 16949, Control Plan, PFMEA and Inspection Standards.


• Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.


• Good observation, communication and documentation skills.


• Willingness to work on the shop floor and learn manufacturing processes.

Education & Experience:

• B Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronic engineering or comparable study paths


• 3- 4years in Quality, preferably in battery/Li-ion/lead-acid manufacturing
