Job summary

Cygni Energy in Hyderabad (Maheshwaram) is seeking a Production supervisor – Sr. Engineer to lead floor operations in Li-ion battery manufacturing.

You will ensure 5S, process control, QA checks, and on-time output while maintaining OEE targets and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/EEE/Industrial Engg and 4–6 years of production experience in battery manufacturing, with hands-on knowledge of testing (BMS, inverter), quality inspection, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/EEE/Industrial Engineering.
• 4–6 years in Production, preferably in battery/Li-ion manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 5S on the production floor.
• Lead production line operations and ensure on-time output.
• Perform cell level testing, welding inspection, and in-process checks.
• Ensure first-time-right quality and maintain records for each model.
• Drive daily/weekly/monthly maintenance of process equipment.
• Escalate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

Responsible for market development, and operational sales work with assigned Key Accounts. Leads sales and product management efforts to assigned Automotive Key Accounts. Leads the selling process for all battery products. Acts as primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts. Leverages relationship between customer, market and Cygni management. Analyses feasibility of technical specs in RFQ’s.

What you’ll Get to Do:

• Maintain 5’s at the floor.
• Execute and Maintain the records at the following stages:
• Cell Level Voltage & IR for verification and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Welding inspection and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• In process testing (Pack output, BMS output, Pack IR) and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Final pack level testing (Charge connector output, Discharge connector output) and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Capacity testing (Charge, Discharge, Re charge) and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Final Quality Inspection and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Process the BMS testing and maintain the record with respect to the Serial number for each model and project separately.
• Execute the testing for Inverter less, BMS, GPRS, DC-DC Adaptor, DPAU150W, IL Series, and Dash Products.
• All the process stages workman ship FTR (First time right) should be meet 100%.
• Daily, Weekly and monthly maintenance to be process equipment involve in the production floor.
• Stage wise production target should be reach greater than 95%.
• Escalate the Non Conformance of material, tools, equipment’s & in process rejection to the concern respective team member.
• Material In process rejection should be less than 0.5%.
• Verification & validate the New product at Production for first 5 units.
• Debug and Root cause the Non Conformance to act corrective & preventive approach.

Education & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical/EEE/ Industrial Engineering.
• 4-6 years in Production, preferably in battery/Li-ion/lead-acid manufacturing
