Job summary

Strings Marketing Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive in India to manage production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and order execution.

The role requires strong planning skills and experience in Garments, Toys, Textile, Apparel, Home Furnishing, or related manufacturing industries. You will coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Supply Chain teams to ensure OTIF deliveries and smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC).
• Experience in Garments, Toys, Textile, Apparel, Home Furnishing, or Manufacturing Industry preferred.
• Strong planning, coordination and analytical abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Blue Kaktus, SAP, Oracle or similar manufacturing ERP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and capacity.
• Develop production schedules and monitor adherence to plans.
• Coordinate with production teams to meet targets and OTIF deliveries.
• Track orders from planning to dispatch and manage the T&A calendar.
• Plan line loading and optimize capacity; reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with sourcing, stores, and merchandising for timely materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and analyze variances.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive to manage production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and order execution. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Garments, Toys, Textile, Apparel, Home Furnishing, or similar manufacturing industry, with strong planning and coordination skills to ensure smooth production and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and production capacity.
• Develop production schedules to ensure timely execution of orders.
• Monitor adherence to production plans and coordinate with production teams to achieve targets.

Order Management & Time and Action (T&A)

• Track customer orders from planning to dispatch.
• Maintain and monitor the Time & Action (T&A) calendar to ensure all production milestones are achieved.
• Identify potential delays and proactively coordinate with concerned departments to minimize risks.

Line Loading & Capacity Planning

• Plan production line loading based on machine and manpower capacity.
• Optimize production capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Recommend improvements in production planning and workflow utilization.

Material Planning

• Coordinate with Sourcing, Purchase, Stores, and Merchandising teams to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and other production inputs.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and production interruptions.

Production Monitoring & MIS Reporting

• Track daily production, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and order status.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports.
• Analyze production variances and recommend corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Supply Chain teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure effective communication across departments for smooth production flow.
• Resolve production planning and coordination issues promptly.

Delivery & Shipment Management

• Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules to meet customer commitments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC).
• Experience in Garments, Toys, Textile, Apparel, Home Furnishing, or Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning, Capacity Planning, and Line Loading.
• Knowledge of Material Planning and Inventory Management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Blue Kaktus, SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing ERP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.
