Job summary

JK Maini Precision Technology in Bengaluru is seeking a Production Planner (PPC) to align monthly, weekly, and daily production plans with customer demand, orders, and plant capacity.

You will monitor MRP, track shop-floor progress, manage BOM and ERP data, coordinate across Quality, Purchase, Stores, Production, and Logistics, and drive on-time-in-full performance.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Eng required.
• 2–4 years of PPC experience in precision machining, automotive, or engineering industries.
• Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 7 to 15 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans aligned with customer demand, sales orders, and plant capacity.
• Monitor raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods inventory levels to prevent bottlenecks and ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Track job orders, work-in-progress (WIP), and machine clearance daily to meet delivery timelines and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
• Evaluate machine efficiency, cycle times, and capacity utilization to optimize dispatch schedules.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Purchase, Stores, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth material movement and vendor clearance.
• Update and maintain accurate production data, BOM, work orders, and inventory status in the ERP/SAP system.
• Identify shop-floor delay drivers and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering to implement corrective actions.

• Production Scheduling & Execution: Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans aligned with customer demand, sales orders, and plant capacity.
• Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Monitor raw material (RM), semi-finished, and finished goods inventory levels to prevent bottlenecks and ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Shop-Floor Monitoring: Track job orders, work-in-progress (WIP), and machine clearance daily to meet delivery timelines and target OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
• Capacity & Load Planning: Evaluate machine efficiency, cycle times, and capacity utilization to optimize dispatch schedules.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Quality, Purchase, Stores, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth material movement and vendor clearance.
• ERP & Data Management: Update and maintain accurate production data, bill of materials (BOM), work orders, and inventory status in the ERP/SAP system.
• Downtime & Bottleneck Analysis: Identify shop-floor delay drivers and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering to implement corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in PPC within a precision machining, automotive, or engineering industry.
