Job summary

JK Maini Precision Technology in Bengaluru seeks an experienced PPC professional to lead production planning and control. You will own MPS/MRP, analyze capacity vs demand, and coordinate cross-cultural cross-functional teams to meet OTIF/OTD targets.

The role requires 14-18 years in PPC activities with a strong grasp of PPC principles, inventory management and dispatch planning. The position offers a challenging environment and opportunities to drive lean improvements through VSM, SMED and 5S.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct MPS & MRP to achieve OTIF and OTD targets.
• Develop plant capacity models and align output with forecast demand.
• Lead cross-functional shop floor, QA, procurement and dispatch to resolve bottlenecks.
• Oversee APQP/PPAP, PFMEA mitigations and audits per IATF 16949/AS9100.
• Drive lean improvements with VSM, SMED and 5S.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strategic Production Planning: Direct master production scheduling (MPS) and material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.


• Capacity vs. Demand Analysis: Formulate robust plant capacity models, evaluate load charts, and align production output with shifting customer forecasts.


• Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead plant-wide coordination between shop floor cells, quality assurance, procurement, and dispatch to resolve 4M bottlenecks (Man, Machine, Material, Method).


• Quality & Process Compliance: Oversee APQP/PPAP requirements, PFMEA risk mitigations, and compliance audits under strict industry standards like IATF 16949 or AS9100.


• Lean Manufacturing & Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), and 5S protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 14-18 years of experience in PPC (Production Planning & Control) or related field.


• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Automobile Engineering).


• Strong understanding of PPC principles, including material requirement planning, capacity planning, dispatch planning, shop floor control, inventory management, etc.
