Job summary

Sharp Facility And Placement invites applications for a PPC Engineer position based in Bhosari/Chakan, Pune. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of PPC/production planning experience are welcome.

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering is required; salary ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 50,000 per month depending on skills and experience. You will prepare and monitor production plans, coordinate with multiple departments, track schedules and maintain PPC MIS.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years PPC/Production Planning experience.
• Experience in plastics or automotive industries preferred.
• Good MS Excel and production documentation skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly production plans.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Dispatch teams.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time orders.
• Track material availability and production requirements.
• Prepare and maintain PPC-related reports and MIS.
• Monitor capacity, manpower and machine utilization.
• Follow up on pending orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments on production issues.
• Maintain production planning and inventory records.
• Ensure smooth execution of production plans per customer requirements.

Required Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0 to 5 years of experience in PPC / Production Planning.
• Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
• Plastic Injection Molding
• Automobile / Auto Components
• Sheet Metal
• Press Shop
• Weld Shop
• Auto Parts Manufacturing
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production-related documentation.
• Ability to work under production deadlines.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
