Job summary

Dynamic Innovations seeks an experienced engineer to independently develop, test, and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA programs for automation projects. You will review drawings, coordinate wiring, and lead on-site installation, testing, and commissioning at client locations.

Ideal candidates will diagnose faults during commissioning and after-sales support, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate FAT/SAT with clients and internal teams. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PLC platforms (GE Fanuc, Emerson, Siemens).
• Working knowledge of SCADA/HMI software (Cimplicity, IFix, WinCC, Movicon).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & control panel drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a logical approach.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Independently develop, test, and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA programs for automation projects.
• Review panel drawings and coordinate wiring, I/O testing, and loop checking with the site team.
• Lead on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems at client locations.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and field-device faults during commissioning and after-sales support.
• Prepare all technical documentation including the architecture document or as per the requirements of each project.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams during Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT).
• Guide and mentor junior/fresher engineers on live projects.
• Follow standard safety practices during site and workshop activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience with PLC platforms such as GE Fanuc, Emerson, Siemens, GE.
• Working knowledge of SCADA/HMI (Cimplicity, IFix, WinCC , Movicon) software and industrial communication protocols (Profinet/Ethernet/Modbus + other protocols).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & control panel drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and willingness to travel for site assignments.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 / IIoT concepts, including industrial connectivity, data acquisition, edge solutions, real-time data monitoring, and visualization. Candidates with a strong willingness and ability to learn Industry 4.0 technologies will also be considered.
