Everest Limited is seeking an experienced automation professional in Pune District, Maharashtra. The successful candidate will develop and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and fail-safe logic, alongside creating SCADA and HMI applications.
We need someone with a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering and 5-10 years in industrial automation, particularly with Siemens PLCs. The role may require travel and offers exposure to international projects.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and fail-safe logic.
Create, configure, and update SCADA and HMI applications.
Prepare and review electrical drawings for PLC, MCC, and PCC panels.
Perform panel wiring checks, panel testing, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at client sites.
Prepare project documentation including IO lists, wiring diagrams, and logic descriptions.
Work with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Fiber Optic Communication (FOC).
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and successful execution of automation projects.
Experience: 5–10 years in industrial automation.
Education: Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-400, S7-400H, S7-1200, S7-1500).
Basic to moderate experience with Rockwell PLCs (required for US‑based projects).
Proficiency in Simatic Manager, PCS7, WinCC Explorer, and TIA Portal.
Experience in industries such as Pharma, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, Process Industries, Coal Mines, Sugar, Automotive, and Power Plants.
Strong skills in PLC/SCADA programming, electrical panel design, and testing.
Ability to work on‑site (Male candidates preferred due to field requirements).
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel as required for project execution.
