Job summary

Company in Pune, India seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead PLC integration and programming for logistics automation. Responsibilities include design of four-layer electrical architectures, PLC selection, and electrical schematics with EPLAN.

The role requires on-site work, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate in English. Travel may be required; safety compliance is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of PLC integration and programming experience for logistics automation projects.
• Familiar with programming software of mainstream PLC brands (e.g., Siemens); experienced in debugging and fault troubleshooting of logistics equipment.
• Possess electrical solution design capabilities; able to formulate four-layer architecture schemes according to customer requirements, complete PLC selection, and design of electrical schematics (EPLAN), wiring diagrams, and layout diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving ability; customer-oriented, proactively optimize processes.
• Flexible and efficient team collaboration ability; excellent time management skills; able to accept urgent tasks and strictly comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales Technical Requirement Communication: Participate in requirement research and on-site surveys, output electrical solutions, equipment lists (BOM), and cost budget to support bidding and contract signing.
• Solution Design: Develop integrated control electrical architectures (equipment layer – control layer – scheduling layer – management layer), complete PLC selection, design of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout diagrams, and write control logic and HMI interfaces.
• System Integration: Responsible for the electrical integration of PLCs, frequency converters, servos, sensors, and logistics and warehousing automation equipment (AGV/stacker crane/sorting machine), ensuring communication protocol compatibility and data interoperability.
• Commissioning and Acceptance: Conduct on-site commissioning of electrical systems, resolve linkage and fault issues, assist customers in acceptance, and provide operational training and technical documentation.
• Operation and Maintenance Support: Responsible for the maintenance, upgrade, and fault troubleshooting of electrical systems in the later stage of the project to ensure long‑term stable operation.
• Timely handle and accurately execute other work tasks assigned by departments and superiors.
