Job summary

Sipra Engineers is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities for a die casting manufacturing facility. You will ensure maximum machine availability, minimize breakdowns, and drive reliability of all plant machinery and utilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with high‑pressure die casting equipment, CNC/VMCs, PLC systems, and plant utilities. Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills are essential to optimize maintenance planning and expenditure.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1015 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance, preferably in the die casting, automotive components, or precision engineering industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in maintenance of automatic high-pressure die casting machines and associated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based control systems.
• Experience in maintaining CNC/VMC machines, compressors, chillers, furnaces, cooling towers, and other plant utilities.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ability to develop maintenance plans, manage spare parts, and control maintenance expenditure.
• Experience in leading maintenance teams and coordinating with production and other cross-functional departments.
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of industrial safety, electrical safety, statutory compliance, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and plant expansion projects will be an added advantage.
• Good leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
