Job summary

Innovative Clad Solutions Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance professional to oversee preventive, predictive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance of metal-processing equipment at our Madhya Pradesh facility.

You will work hands-on with rolling mills and allied systems, applying hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and SAP/ERP-based maintenance practices, while reading AutoCAD drawings and coordinating with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance of metal-processing equipment.
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with SAP/ERP-based maintenance systems.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and layouts.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Plan and execute PM and S/D activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper spares management and inventory control.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
• Follow safety procedures, work permits, and maintenance regulations.
• Use ERP systems for maintenance planning, work orders, spare management, and record keeping.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD/mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, and technical documents.
• Analyse equipment problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Take quick and appropriate decisions during breakdowns and critical maintenance situations.
• Coordinate effectively with Production, Electrical, Quality, Safety, and other departments.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Hands-on experience in Cold Rolling Mills, Rolling Mills, Slitting Lines, CTL (Cut-to-Length), Bell Annealing Furnaces, and related equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Handle maintenance of plant utilities such as pump houses, nitrogen generators, compressors, EOT cranes, lubrication systems, ETP and STP.
• Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Shutdown (S/D) activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure proper spares management, including identification, availability, consumption, and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, equipment history, and documentation.
• Follow and ensure compliance with safety procedures, work permits, and maintenance work regulations.
• Use ERP systems for maintenance planning, work orders, spare management, and record keeping.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD/mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, and technical documents.
• Analyse equipment problems, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Take quick and appropriate decisions during breakdowns and critical maintenance situations.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-7 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance with metal industry experience.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, and industrial utilities.
• Good troubleshooting and quick decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyse problems and identify root causes.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP-based maintenance systems.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.
