Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a skilled supervisor in Gujarat, Surat for a manufacturing role focused on coordinating and planning materials for assembly. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and experience in implementing 5S, Lean, and TQM processes.

The successful applicant will manage relationships with vendors, conduct drawing reviews, ensure cleanliness in departments, and report on daily production plans to the management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan pre-assembly materials ensuring timely availability.
• Work closely with vendors to plan and receive materials on time.
• Review machine and VMC drawings before machining.
• Maintain cleanliness in departments.
• Implement process improvements in machine assembly activities.
• Report daily production plans and actual work executed.
• Maintain proper documentation of manufactured machines.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Responsible for coordinating, planning of pre assembly materials and ensuring the parts are available on time
• Work closely with vendors to plan & receive the required materials on time for assembly and spare orders.
  • Selecting outside vendors for sending materials for machining.
  • Work with vendors to resolve any issues related to machining and visit them, if required.
• Drawings review
  • Machine drawings review
  • VMC drawings review before machining
• Housekeeping & cleanliness in your respective departments
• Focus on time reduction and resource optimization.
• Implement 5S, TQM process improvements in machine assembly activity & prepare necessary posters/labels to sustain improvement projects.
  • Shares report every month about new practices implements along with its advantages. (Process, Resource, Time, Cost, etc)
• Reports to manager with daily production plan & actual work executed for each machine to be manufactured.
• Maintains proper documentation (checklist, pictures, etc) of manufactured machines.
• Any other relevant duty as assigned by the Management. Duties to be updated time to time depending on company’s requirement.
