Job summary

LR Energy seeks a Lead Planning/Billing Engineer to lead project planning, progress monitoring, quantity measurement and billing coordination for CBG project sites. Responsibilities include preparing schedules, tracking progress, reviewing contractor plans and maintaining dashboards.

The role requires >5 years (7 years for diploma) in civil/mechanical engineering and proficiency with MS Projects/Primavera. Work at project sites with audit-ready records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Project planning and scheduling expertise with strong progress tracking.
• Experience in quantity verification and billing coordination.
• Ability to maintain S-curves and manage project reports.
• Knowledge of delay analysis and contractor coordination with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and monitor project schedules and progress.
• Track quantities, milestones, critical activities and constraints.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, look-ahead and recovery plans.
• Consolidate progress data for DPR, weekly and monthly reports.
• Review contractor measurements and RA billing documents with site engineers.
• Maintain S-curves, dashboards and management reporting formats.
• Track hindrance and delay, support recovery actions.
• Monitor contractor manpower, machinery and material deployment.
• Prepare inputs for MOMs and progress reviews.
• Coordinate with RCM and contractor teams for timely submission and closure.
• Maintain planning and billing records for audit and close-out.

Qualification : B.Tech / B.E. in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience : >5 Years / 7 Years for Diploma Holders
Work Location : Project Site(s) – CBG Projects
Job Purpose : Lead project planning, progress monitoring, quantity measurement, billing coordination and project reporting for CBG project sites.
Mandatory Skills : MS Projects/Primavera P6
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and monitor project schedules and planned versus actual progress.
• Track activity-wise quantities, milestones, critical activities, work fronts and project constraints.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, recovery plans and resource deployment.
• Collect, verify and consolidate progress data from site discipline engineers for DPR, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Review contractor measurements, quantities and RA billing documents in coordination with site engineers.
• Maintain S-curves, progress dashboards, milestone trackers and management reporting formats.
• Maintain hindrance, delay, action and recovery trackers and support delay analysis.
• Monitor contractor manpower, machinery and material deployment against planned requirements.
• Identify slippages and support preparation/follow-up of corrective and recovery measures.
• Prepare inputs for MOMs, progress review meetings and management presentations.
• Coordinate with RCM, discipline engineers and contractor planning/billing teams for timely submission and closure.
• Maintain project planning and billing records for audit, review and project close-out.
