Job summary

Maestro Headhunters is seeking a Projects and Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, and coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams. You will help develop and maintain schedules, track milestones, and assist in reporting to clients.

The role requires a degree in engineering and familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project, along with strong coordination and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / chemical / civil / electrical engineering.
• Total Experience: 37 years (Relevant: 0–7 years)
• Familiarity with planning tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Support preparation of baseline schedules, progress curves, resource loading, and variance analysis.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; propose schedule adjustments when required.
• Generate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure alignment with project execution plans.
• Monitor Level 4 / Level 5 schedules and support detailed fabrication planning activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and client review.
• Track engineering deliverables, procurement status, fabrication progress, and construction milestones.
• Monitor project expenses and report deviations from the approved budget.
• Support MIS reporting, data consolidation, and project documentation activities.
• Capture, record, and verify implementation of ReX (Return on Experience) from past and ongoing projects.
• Establish and maintain project man-hour control systems.

For the Project Operations team, they are looking for a Projects and Planning Engineer.

MAIN MISSION

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.

• Support meeting coordination: prepare minutes, action trackers, and follow up until closure.
• Ensure effective communication on project control and risk matters across teams.

Risk & Compliance

• Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities; update the project risk register.
• Capture and track legal & contractual requirements and assess their implications for project risk.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Identify potential roadblocks early and proactively propose solutions.

Continuous Improvement

• Seek frequent feedback from stakeholders to improve planning and control processes.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned to support the projects success.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in mechanical / chemical / civil / electrical engineering.
• Total Experience: 37 years (Relevant: 0–7 years)
• Basic understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with planning tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project) is an advantage
• Strong coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
