Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers in India seeks a seasoned Planning Engineer to oversee resource planning and scheduling for large infrastructure projects. You will ensure schedule integrity and cost control across multiple workstreams.

The role requires a Civil/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree with 10+ years in infrastructure, plus 5+ years Primavera P6 experience; experience with change orders and contract matters is a plus. You will also produce MIS reports and assist with contract changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years overall experience in infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years in a similar planning role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule resources for projects.
• Manage schedules, monitor costs and control expenditures.
• Produce MIS reports as required.
• Assist Contract Expert with Change of Scope, Extension of Time and notices.

Role & responsibilities

Planning Engineer shall be responsible for resource planning and scheduling,

Schedule management, cost monitoring and control, risk management MIS

reporting system as per project requirement. Planning Engineer shall also be

responsible for assisting the Contract Expert for dealing with critical Contractual matters such as Change of Scope, Extension of Time, any notice from the Contractors

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in Civil / Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with an overall experience of minimum 10 years.


• Experience of 5 years in similar capacity in Infrastructure projects.


• Well conversant with primavera P6 with minimum 5 years of Primavera experience in Construction projects
