Job summary

UltraTech Cement seeks a seasoned Maintenance Planner/Engineer to lead reliability-driven maintenance plans across plant sections including Crusher, Raw Mill, Kiln and Cement Mill. You will coordinate with stores, vendors and OEMs to ensure spares availability and timely maintenance execution.

The role requires hands-on budgeting, scheduling and MIS reporting, with strong SAP EAM/PM proficiency and a focus on reducing downtime while improving asset reliability. BE Mechanical is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in integrate cement manufacturing.
• Maintenance planning, shutdown planning, budgeting, inventory management and preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience in SAP EAM and PM modules.
• Exposure to vendor management, OEM coordination and maintenance MIS reporting.
• Knowledge of reliability improvement and spare parts management

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and monthly maintenance budgets.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Implement cost optimization initiatives without affecting equipment reliability.
• Develop maintenance schedules aligned with SAM PM standards.
• Ensure compliance and effectiveness of preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor execution and improve maintenance performance.
• Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and OEMs.
• Resolve technical queries and ensure timely procurement support.
• Monitor vendor performance and delivery commitments.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical spares.
• Coordinate with stores and commercial teams.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and material availability.
• Generate daily and monthly maintenance MIS reports.
• Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Train team members on planning tools, SAM PM and safety compliance.
