Job summary

Aditya Birla Group, Cement division, seeks a PF Mechanical (Planning) professional to drive maintenance planning, budgeting, and inventory management for cement plants. The role requires coordinating with vendors and OEMs, maintaining PM schedules, and producing MIS reports to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

The candidate will handle planning activities for crushers, raw mill, kiln, cooler, cement mill, and utility equipment, ensuring timely procurement and adherence to SAM PM standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a plant environment.
• Exposure to budgeting and cost control in maintenance.
• Inventory and spare parts management experience.

Responsibilities

• Budget planning and cost control for maintenance budgets.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules aligned with standards and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate vendor/OEM discussions and procurement support for maintenance needs.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintenance MIS reporting.

Job Description:

• Experience in integrate cement manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance planning, shutdown planning, budgeting, inventory management and preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience in SAP EAM and PM modules.
• Exposure to vendor management, OEM coordination and maintenance MIS reporting.

Knowledge of reliability improvement and spare parts management

JOB PROFILE:

KRA 1: Budget Planning & Cost Control

• Prepare annual and monthly maintenance budgets.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Implement cost optimization initiatives without affecting equipment reliability.

KRA 2: Preventive Maintenance Planning

• Develop maintenance schedules aligned with SAM PM standards.
• Ensure compliance and effectiveness of preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor execution and improve maintenance performance.
• Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and OEMs.
• Resolve technical queries and ensure timely procurement support.
• Monitor vendor performance and delivery commitments.

KRA 4: Inventory Management & Compliance

• Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical spares.
• Coordinate with stores and commercial teams.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and material availability.

KRA 5: Performance Monitoring & Team Development

• Generate daily and monthly maintenance MIS reports.
• Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Train team members on planning tools, SAM PM and safety compliance.
