Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking an Engineer/Snr. Engineer/Asst. Manager for PF Instrument in Tadipatri, India.

You will maintain and calibrate instrumentation in the Raw Mill Circuit, monitor PLC/SCADA health, and lead reliability improvements while coordinating with Operations, Mechanical, and Process teams. Strong focus on preventing downtime and meeting safety standards. The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and proactive communication to ensure continuous plant performance

Qualifications

• Maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots instrumentation in Raw Mill Circuit.
• Monitors PLC, SCADA, VFDs, and field instruments.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Ensures safety standards and plant reliability targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot instrumentation in the Raw Mill Circuit.
• Ensure smooth operation of weigh feeders, belt scales, field instruments, analyzers, and control loops.
• Coordinate with Operations, Mechanical and Process teams during shutdowns.
• Raise SAP notifications and ensure timely closure of maintenance activities.

Job Description:

Responsible for maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement of instrumentation systems in the Raw Mill Circuit.
Ensures smooth operation of weigh feeders, belt scales, field instruments, analyzers, and control loops.
Carries out preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns and production losses.
Monitors PLC, SCADA, VFD, and field instrumentation health and executes necessary modifications.
Identifies abnormalities, raises SAP notifications, and ensures timely closure of maintenance activities.
Coordinates with Operations, Mechanical, and Process teams during shutdowns and breakdowns.
Ensures compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and plant reliability targets.
