Job summary

UltraTech Cement seeks an Engineer/Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager for PF Instrument at Rawan Cement Works. The role focuses on maximizing plant availability, improving productivity, and reducing maintenance costs across kiln, coal mill, and wagon tippler sections.

The incumbent will calibrate weigh feeders and related devices, monitor gas analysers and stack monitors, manage hydraulics, and ensure safety standards and data history are maintained.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E in Instrumentation or ECE required.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience in cement/mines instrumentation.
• Experience with pyro section, gas analysers, and drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Maximise plant availability, improve productivity and minimize maintenance costs for kiln, coal mill and wagon tippler sections.
• Calibrate weigh feeders, rotascle, Coriolis as required and maintain records.
• Regularly check gas analysers and stack monitors with proper records.
• Check hydraulic systems (IKN cooler, FLS CB cooler, Piffer, mill hydraulics, wagon tippler hydraulics).
• Maintain conveyor safety devices and bag filters.
• Prepare cost estimates, finalize technical specifications and plan execution for new/Capex projects.
• Maintain PI system and data historian for the plant.
• Implement safety standards and ISO/WCM systems; promote safety at workplace.
• Develop self and subordinates; manage teams effectively.

• Doing calibration of weigh feeders, Rotascle, Coriolis as required and maintaining records for same.
• Regularly checking of gas Analysers , stack monitors and maintaining the recors.
• Checking of hydraulic system like IKN cooler, FLS CB cooler and Piffer, mill hydraluics & Wagon tippler hydraulics
• Regular upkeep of all conveyor safety devices and Bag filters
• Preparation for cost estimation, finalizing technical specifications and planning for execution for new/Capex jobs
• Maintaining Pi system & Data historian for the plant.
