Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a performance testing specialist to design, execute and analyze load tests using LoadRunner, and to work with AppDynamics, Dynatrace and New Relic.

The candidate will optimize Vugen scripts in Java and C, monitor OS, storage, and cloud infra (AWS/Azure), analyze results, coordinate with development teams to triage issues, and ensure robust performance for finance/banking projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with LoadRunner for performance testing and familiarity with APM tools such as AppDynamics/Dynatrace/New Relic.
• Ability to work independently through requirement analysis, design, execution, and results analysis.
• Develop customized Java and C code to optimize Vugen scripts.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for issue triaging and bug fixes.
• Strong understanding of OS internals, file systems, disks/storage, networking; knowledge of Cloud infra.
• Monitor production performance metrics and apply models in testing with higher load to reveal issues.
• Experience monitoring databases and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Experience in Finance – Banking domain projects; LoadRunner protocols.
• Database: SQL or Mongo.
• Unix basics.
• Understanding cloud concepts – AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

Desired Competencies

• Good experience using Performance Test tool LoadRunner and understanding of APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace/New Relic, etc.
• Should have ability to work independently in Requirement analysis, designing, execution & result analysis phase.
• Develop customized codes in Java & C language for optimizing and enhancing Vugen scripts.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for issue triaging & bug fixes.
• Good understanding of different OS internals, file systems, disk/storage, networking protocols and other latest technologies like Cloud infra.
• Monitor/extract production performance statistics and apply the same model in the test environments with higher load to uncover performance issues.
• Must have experience in monitoring DB and highlight performance issues.
