An IT solutions company in Hyderabad is seeking a dedicated Performance Test Engineer (LoadRunner) to lead performance validation for critical applications. In this mid-senior level role, you will design and execute performance test strategies, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance bottlenecks. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with LoadRunner and performance testing, along with excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position offering direct exposure to large enterprise systems.

About the opportunity
A fast-paced IT services and enterprise quality engineering practice focused on ensuring scalable, resilient applications for enterprise customers across fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS and digital platforms. The team delivers performance testing, capacity planning and tuning for high‑traffic web and microservices architectures.
We are hiring a Performance Test Engineer (LoadRunner) to operate on‑site in India and lead performance validation for critical production‑grade applications.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test strategies and scenarios (load, stress, soak, spike) for web and API‑based applications using LoadRunner.
• Create and maintain robust VuGen scripts and parameterization to simulate realistic user journeys and data patterns.
• Configure and run LoadRunner Controller jobs, analyse results, and produce actionable performance reports using LoadRunner Analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks across application stack (frontend, backend, DB) and collaborate with dev/ops to define remediation and capacity plans.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and automate test execution, reporting, and alerting for repeatable regression testing.
• Provide tuning recommendations, capacity forecasting, and clear stakeholder communication around SLAs and risk for releases.
