Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in LoadRunner, particularly with Web and TruClient protocols, along with solid analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner.
• Work extensively with Web and TruClient protocols for application performance testing.
• Conduct various types of testing including:
• Load Testing
• Stress Testing
• Endurance/Soak Testing
• Scalability Testing
• Analyze application performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations.
• Monitor system behaviour and generate detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare workload models and test strategies based on business requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis and performance engineering activities throughout the SDLC.
• Execute tests in on-premise and cloud-based environments when required.
• Use SQL queries for backend validation, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Support automation and scripting activities using basic programming knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner / OpenText LoadRunner.
• Mandatory expertise in:
• Web Protocol
• TruClient Protocol
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
• Basic programming knowledge in C or any other scripting/programming language.
• Experience in analyzing server-side metrics and performance bottlenecks.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps integration for performance testing.
• Exposure to API performance testing is a plus.
