Job summary

Wellversed is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our Gurgaon office on a full-time basis. The role focuses on payroll operations, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, documentation, and employee support functions.

You will manage payroll inputs, onboarding, HRMS, performance cycles, exits, and maintain HR policies while ensuring timely, compliant processes. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and HRMS is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations or related roles.
• Strong understanding of payroll inputs and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience with HR documentation and compliance requirements (EPF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and employment regulations).

We require the People Operations professional to have a strong understanding of payroll operations, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, documentation, and employee support functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, and arrears.
• Handle onboarding, employee documentation, HRMS management, and background verification.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, confirmations, increments, and promotions.
• Manage employee exits, clearances, full-and-final settlements, and exit documentation.
• Maintain HR policies, compliance records, SOPs, and statutory documentation.
• Resolve employee queries and grievances within defined timelines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Generalist, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, and HR documentation.
• Working knowledge of statutory compliance including EPF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and employment regulations.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, IMPORTRANGE, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
• Experience using HRMS and payroll software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to timelines and compliance requirements.
