Job summary

HL Klemove is seeking a logistics planning professional to manage the interface between customers, OEMs and the factory. You will formulate production and dispatch plans, monitor stock, and coordinate with transporters to ensure on-time despatch.

The role includes SAP data entry for customers, orders, and invoices, and developing packaging plans in alignment with customer needs and logistics optimization.

Responsibilities

• Obtain production plan from customer and OEMs.
• Formulate monthly, weekly and daily production plan for 4M activities.
• Log in to customer portal daily and analyze day-wise requirements.
• Formulate dispatch plan based on day-wise requirements.
• Review stock with factory, transit and customer to decide dispatch.
• Coordinate with production planning team for day-to-day needs.
• Review meetings with sales for day-wise targets.
• Coordinate with transporter and arrange timely despatch.
• Track transport pilots until shipment reaches customer.
• Escalate and resolve shipping and delivery issues timely.
• Suggest optimal transportation modes, routing or frequency per customer.
• Formulation of SOPs related to Sales & Distribution.
• Ensure per-shipment documents are dispatched.
• Ensure invoice copy is signed and registered with gate entry.
• Ensure ASN uploaded in customer portal with dispatch.
• Create customer, sales order, conditions, delivery, invoices in SAP.
• Check goods issued in SAP matches delivery quantity.
• Liaising with transporter for quality and price.
• Select transporter.
• Formulate logistics contract and negotiate unit price.
• Resolve claims related to damage during transport.
• Develop packaging plans including timing and design.
• Verify packaging samples and obtain customer approval.
• Plan weekly/monthly packing material requirements and release purchase requests.

Job description

Duties within the factory to customer end:

• Getting the production plan form the customer and the OEMs
• Formulation of monthly, weekly and daily production plan based on the customer plan for 4M activities.
• Responsible for logging in to the customer portal on daily basis and analyzing the day wise requirement.
• Formulation of dispatch plan based on the customer’s day wise requirement.
• Analyzing the stock with the factory, transit and customer end and thereby giving dispatch plan to subordinates.
• Interacting with the production planning team for day to day requirement.
• Review meeting with the sales team for day wise target achievement.
• Coordinating with the transporter and arranging the vehicle for on time despatch.
• Keeping in track with the transport pilots until the shipment reaches customer end safely.
• Timely escalation and resolution of issues related to shipping and deliveries.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing or frequency based on customer requirement.

Formulation of SOP’s related to Sales & Distribution.

Shipping document control:

• Ensuring the per-shipment documents such as invoices, permits, test reports etc are ensured and despatched.
• Ensuring that the invoice copy is signed and registered with the gate entry.

Responsible to ensure that ASN has been uploaded in the customer’s portal along with the dispatch.

SAP control:

• Creating customer, sale order, condition, delivery document, invoices in SAP.
• Checking between goods issued in SAP matches with the delivery qty to customer.

Logistics activities:

• Liaosining with the transporter company for operational quality and price.
• Selection of transporter.
• Formulation of logistics contract and negotiation of unit price.
• Resolving of claim issues relating to damage while transporting.

Developing container packaging:

• Developing plan for packaging material and formulation of timing plan.
• Designing the packaging box and material based on the request of the customer and logistics optimization.
• Responsible for sample verification.
• Getting approval form customer.

Procurement of packing materials:

• Arriving weekly and monthly requirements of packing materials based on customer plan.
• Getting approval and releasing purchase request to purchasing team.
