Senior Executive - Logistics & Warehouse Operations

Full-Time

1 Purchase & Procurement: -

• Responsible for the procurement of trading goods, consumables, and other business requirements.


• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.


• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.


• Issue and follow up purchase orders.


• Ensure timely availability of trading products as per customer orders and business requirements.


• Confirm Rates with Accounts team and follow-up with Accounts team to raise PO

2 Warehouse Management: -

• Supervise all inward and outward material movement.


• Ensure proper storage of Trading materials, packing materials and Finish goods.


• Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid excess/shortage/obsolete stock.


• Implement proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.


• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.


• Ensure proper documentation for GRN, material issues, transfers and dispatches.


• Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping and 5S standards


• If the required product is not available in stock, arrange as per customer order requirements.


• Employee should be on warehouse for 2 days in a week

3 Logistics & Dispatch: -

• Plan and coordinate dispatches of Finish goods to customers/dealers/projects.


• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and delivery schedules.


• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.


• Negotiate freight rates and control transportation costs.


• Handle logistics-related issues, delays, shortages and damages.


• Maintain dispatch and transportation records.

4 Team Management: -

• Lead and supervise team members


• Allocate daily work and monitor team performance.


• Train team members on processes, documentation, safety and inventory control.


• Daily/weekly/monthly MIS reporting responsibility.

5 Inventory & MIS: -

• Monitor stock levels and prepare inventory reports.


• Track slow-moving, non-moving and critical inventory.


• Prepare MIS reports fo r sales, purchase, stock, dispatch, logistics.


• Maintain accurate ERP/system entries and documentation.


• Support management in reducing inventory and logistics costs.

6 Payments & Follow-Up:-

• Check overdue payment reports before processing orders.


• Follow up with the Sales Team/clients regarding overdue payments.


• Track and follow up on pending payments.


• Follow up on retail and payment-on-delivery orders.

7 Sales Quotation / Sales Communication:-

• Prepare sales quotations from Sales/Inhouse BD/client requirements; communicate confirm rates to Sales Team/client.

8 Sales Coordination:-

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.


• Sales quotation, order management, client coordination, site unloading, delivery confirmation, non-moving/near-expiry liquidation, and detailed plant/supply coordination.


• Expiry, MTC, rate documentation; DN/invoice; receiving copies; supplier/Vendors coordination
