Job summary

Indian Metalloy Recyclers in India is seeking a Production and Dispatch Coordinator to align daily production and dispatch plans with customer orders and delivery schedules. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Production, Yard, Stores, Accounts and Logistics to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.

Responsibilities include material readiness checks, creating daily plans, tracking MIS reports, coordinating with transporters, and maintaining records in Excel/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production and dispatch planning as per customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Production, Yard, Stores, Accounts and Logistics teams.
• Check material availability and production status before confirming dispatch schedules.
• Prepare daily production and dispatch plans and monitor their completion.
• Follow up with the production team for material readiness as per dispatch requirements.
• Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle placement.
• Ensure correct material, quantity, grade and specifications before dispatch.
• Coordinate loading, weighing and vehicle movement at the yard.
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents: invoice, delivery challan, e-way bill, LR/GR, and weighment slip.
• Track dispatched vehicles and follow up until delivery is completed.
• Maintain daily Production & Dispatch MIS and pending dispatch reports.
• Monitor production delays, dispatch delays and communicate to management.
• Coordinate with Accounts for invoice/payment/credit clearance before dispatch.
• Maintain records of production quantity, dispatch quantity, pending orders and balance material.
• Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and dispatch status.
• Resolve issues related to vehicle delays, material shortages, loading discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Maintain proper records in Excel/ERP/Tally or company software.
• Support management in improving production planning, dispatch efficiency and transportation cost control.
• Ensure proper coordination between production completion and customer delivery commitments.
• Perform other operational responsibilities assigned by management.
