Job summary

Grant Thornton Bharat Llp in India is seeking a Payroll & Labour Compliance Specialist to manage statutory payroll duties across offices. You will ensure timely PT, ESI and LWF filings, maintain payroll data, and support audit readiness.

The role covers annual and half-year returns, wage-governed compliance under Shops & Establishment Act, Factory Act where applicable, and coordination of vendor audits. Optional gratuity trust administration may be included.

• Vendor audits under CLRA and allied acts

Responsibilities

• Monitor payroll data across locations and ensure timely filings and accuracy
• Manage annual returns, half-yearly returns, ESI calculations, and audit support
• Coordinate gratuity trust administration where applicable and maintain trust data
• Liaise with offices for compliance under Labour laws and vendor-related audits

Services Details

• Administration of Payroll Compliances (PT, ESI & LWF)
• PT- monthly for Bangalore 2000 - half yearly Chennai - 400 | LWF annual for all locations
• Administration of Labour law compliances for Offices under purview of Shops & Establishment Act
• Annual returns, Half yearly returns, ESI calculation for 50 employees, keep the portal active, information on minimum wage etc, GO sharing if any- 2 offices
• Administration of Labour Law compliances for Factories under purview of Factories Act
• Same as above 1 factory
• Administration of Vendor Audits under CLRA & other allied Acts as applicable
• As required, we dont have monthly activity, may be initially onetime while audit otherwise when there is a vendor addition that time only, we have the involvement
• Administration of compliance under Gratuity Trust OPTIONAL - Qtr

• Required- expectation is a Payroll full-time support, all this compliance activity he will monitor, data integration payroll for audit support etc and preparing the annual returns, maintain of trust data .
