Job summary

Drishti Group is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee records, and HR operations in India.

The role requires hands-on expertise with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, gratuity, and HRMS/payroll systems, plus strong MS Excel skills for payroll reconciliations and reports. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality across all payroll activities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in HR, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in payroll and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, LWF, and payroll compliance.
  • Experience with HRMS/payroll software; Keka experience preferred.
  • MS Excel proficiency with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salary, attendance, leaves, deductions, incentives, arrears, and full & final settlements.
  • Manage statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, and Gratuity.
  • Prepare and verify monthly payroll reports, salary registers, bank statements, and MIS.
  • Handle employee salary-related queries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Manage employee data, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs in HRMS.
  • Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for salary processing and statutory payments.
  • Support payroll audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation.
  • Manage onboarding and exit-related payroll activities, including F&F settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory timelines.
  • Prepare HR/payroll MIS and management reports as required.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with HRMS/payroll software; Keka experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates from EdTech, Education, Retail, or other mid-to-large workforce organizations with experience handling high-volume payroll will be preferred.
