Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely salary processing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payroll management, statutory compliance, employee query resolution, and payroll reporting.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and within defined timelines.
- Maintain and update employee salary records, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), TDS, and MLWF.
- Prepare, verify, and process Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
- Generate salary slips, payroll summaries, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the HR team for payroll inputs, approvals, and employee updates.
- Handle employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage filing of Form 24Q independently and issuance of Form 16 to employees.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure confidentiality of employee data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of Indian payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of payroll taxation and labor laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Accounting and TALLY is must.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of payroll software.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
