Job summary

Gokula Education Foundation in Bengaluru is seeking a Patient Services coordinator to welcome patients and their attendants, and to coordinate appointments, admissions, discharges, investigations and follow-ups. You will address queries and coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires explaining hospital processes, monitoring patient needs, maintaining records, and upholding confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and their attendants with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, discharges, investigations, and follow-ups.
• Address patient queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Explain hospital processes, services, and relevant procedures to patients and attendants.
• Monitor patient requirements and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
• Maintain accurate patient-related records and documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, SOPs, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Collect patient feedback and communicate recurring issues to management.
• Support patient satisfaction and service-quality initiatives.
• Assist in emergency situations by coordinating with the appropriate hospital teams.
• Maintain professional communication and a patient-centric approach at all times.
