Experience:

10+ years in Venture Capital, Corporate Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Private Equity, consulting or startup leadership, with demonstrated depth across sourcing, evaluation, portfolio management and exits. Team leadership and P&L ownership are required.

Sector Focus:

Deeptech and AI, with emphasis on Manufacturing & Hardware, including Aerospace and Robotics. Relevant Fintech or D2C exposure may also be considered.

Team:

Leadership of an 8 – 10 member sector pod with direct reporting responsibility.

About the Opportunity:

A leading multi-stage venture investment platform is seeking a Partner to lead its Manufacturing & Hardware sector cluster, covering deeptech, artificial intelligence, aerospace and robotics. This is an end-to-end leadership role spanning investment decisions, sector strategy, team management, founder engagement and cluster P&L ownership. The role will co-drive the Category I Angel Fund pipeline for the sector and contribute to the wider platform strategy. It combines investment leadership, sector-building, portfolio value creation and stakeholder management.

Investment Ownership:

• Own the full investment cycle: sourcing, evaluation, investment committee, negotiation, fundraising, monitoring and exits.
• Build thesis-led conviction and drive structured, high-velocity investment decisions.
• Lead deep due diligence, financial evaluation and category mapping across the sector.

Sector Cluster Leadership:

• Lead and mentor an 8 – 10 member sector cluster with full P&L ownership.
• Run weekly funnel reviews and quarterly sector strategy reviews.
• Build market maps, competitive landscapes and investment theses; drive category-building initiatives and represent the platform externally.

Portfolio & Founder Engagement:

• Act as the primary bridge between founders and internal teams.
• Support founders across go-to-market, product, fundraising, governance and hiring.
• Enable follow-on rounds through venture capital, family office and global investor networks.
• Drive secondaries, strategic exits and structured liquidity events; track runway, performance and exit readiness.

Fund & Stakeholder Mandate:

• Co-drive the Category I Angel Fund sector pipeline and contribute to fund strategy.
• Engage with limited partners and strategic partners.
• Ensure governance and compliance in line with Category I AIF norms.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A business-first investment professional or operator with a strong ownership mindset and proven capability across process, data, compliance and people leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable with change and transformation in a matrixed, high-growth environment.

• Strong investment judgement with deeptech, AI, manufacturing or hardware sector understanding.
