Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a senior investment leader to own the full investment cycle, including sourcing, evaluation, and fundraising, while driving sector strategy and value creation for portfolio companies.

You will mentor an 8–10 member sector cluster, own P&L for the sector, and lead weekly funnel reviews and quarterly strategy discussions. Strong VC/IB/PE background in Deeptech/AI/Fintech is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sourcing, evaluation, portfolio management, and exits experience.
• Strong leadership and P&L ownership capabilities.
• Experience in Deeptech/AI/Fintech/D2C sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle: sourcing evaluation IC negotiation Fundraising Monitoring.
• Build thesis-led conviction and drive structured, high-velocity investment decisions.
• Run due diligence, financial evaluation, and category mapping.
• Lead and mentor an 8-10-member sector cluster.
• Full P&L ownership for the sector.
• Run weekly funnel reviews and quarterly sector strategy reviews.
• Build sector insights: market maps, competitive landscapes, investment theses.
• Drive category-build initiatives and represent client externally.
• Act as the primary bridge between founders and internal Client teams.
• Support founders across GTM, product, fundraising, governance, and hiring.
• Enable follow-ons through VC, FO, and global investor networks.
• Drive secondaries, strategic exits, and structured liquidity events.
• Track runway, performance, and exit readiness.
• Co-drive sector pipeline and fund strategy.
• Engage with LPs and strategic partners.
• Ensure governance and compliance per CAT I AIF norms.

1. End-to-End Investment Ownership

• Own the full cycle: sourcing evaluation IC negotiation Fundraising Monitoring
