Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Principal / VP, Investments for its Bangalore team. In this senior role you will own the investment cycle end to end, from sourcing startups to diligence and deal execution, working directly with Partners.

You will help shape the fund's pipeline and theses, leveraging a strong network in the Indian startup ecosystem. Competitive compensation includes a share of the fund’s carry and attractive CTC.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, consulting or a high-growth startup.
• Track record of sourcing and leading early-stage investments.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the investment cycle end to end—from sourcing and evaluating startups to running diligence and executing deals.
• Support portfolio founders and work closely with Partners to shape the fund's pipeline and theses.
• Build and maintain a network within the Indian startup ecosystem.

On behalf of our client, a leading global early-stage VC firm with ~USD 1Bn under management, we’re looking for a Principal / VP, Investments to join its Bangalore team.

The role:

Own the investment cycle end to end, from sourcing and evaluating startups to running diligence, executing deals and supporting portfolio founders. You’ll work directly with the Partners and help shape the fund’s pipeline and investment theses.

You might be a fit if you have:
