Job summary

nan is seeking an experienced panel saw cutting operator to efficiently cut plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board and other panel materials according to cutting lists and production requirements.

You will read drawings, verify dimensions, optimize layouts to minimize waste, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safety and quality targets are met daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of panel saw cutting experience in modular furniture/interior production.
• Knowledge of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board.
• Ability to read cutting lists and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Panel Saw Cutting Machine safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand cutting lists, drawings, measurements, and dimensions.
• Perform accurate cutting per required measurements and tolerances.
• Check material quality, thickness, size, and quantity before cutting.
• Plan cutting layouts to minimize material wastage.
• Ensure all cut panels are properly labelled and organized.
• Coordinate with production, design, and edge-banding teams.
• Check dimensions of finished panels before sending to next process.
• Maintain records of material usage and wastage.
• Keep the cutting area and machine clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and machine operating guidelines.
• Identify machine issues and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure daily production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Responsible for operating the panel saw machine and accurately cutting plywood, MDF, HD HMR, particle board, and other panel materials according to the cutting list and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Panel Saw Cutting Machine safely and efficiently.


• Read and understand cutting lists, drawings, measurements, and dimensions.


• Perform accurate cutting as per required measurements and tolerances.


• Check material quality, thickness, size, and quantity before cutting.


• Plan cutting layouts to minimize material wastage.


• Ensure all cut panels are properly labelled and organized.


• Coordinate with the production, design, and edge-banding teams.

• Maintain proper records of material usage and wastage.


• Keep the cutting area and machine clean and organized.

Skills * Experience*:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in panel saw cutting, preferably in modular furniture/interior production.


• Good knowledge of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board, etc.


• Strong knowledge of measurements and cutting calculations.


• Ability to read cutting lists and basic technical drawings.


• Good understanding of material optimization and wastage control.


• Ability to work independently and manage production targets.


• Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and safety procedures.
