Job summary

Sky Fit is looking for an experienced Production Manager Interior Projects to oversee the complete production process for modular furniture used in residential and commercial interiors. You will plan, coordinate and monitor production, ensuring designs, cutting files and project timelines are followed.

The role requires hands-on leadership in planning, monitoring production, ensuring quality checks, on-time dispatch and seamless site coordination with design, procurement and site teams.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in interior furniture production.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchen/wardrobe manufacturing.
• Excellent reading of cutting files and production drawings.
• Familiar with CNC, panel saw, edge banding and related processes.
• Understanding of interior materials and hardware.
• Ability to read 2D drawings, dimensions and furniture details.
• Experience in production planning and manpower management.
• Strong quality-control and problem-solving skills.
• Good coordination and communication, able to work under deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Sky Fit is looking for an experienced Production Manager Interior Projects to manage the complete production process for residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring production of modular furniture and ensuring that all components are manufactured as per approved designs, cutting files, drawings and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production of modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities, storage units, crockery units, beds, study units and other modular furniture.
• Understand and verify cutting files, production drawings, working drawings and BOQs before production.
• Have strong knowledge of panel cutting, edge banding, drilling, routing, grooving, CNC operations and assembly.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, purchase, production and site teams.
• Check cutting lists and ensure correct dimensions, quantities, materials and hardware are followed.
• Plan daily and project-wise production schedules according to site requirements.
• Monitor production from cutting edge banding drilling/CNC assembly finishing packing dispatch.
• Ensure production is completed within the required project timeline.
• Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, machine operators and factory staff.
• Ensure correct use of MDF, HDHMR, plywood, particle board, laminates, acrylic, veneer, glass, aluminium profiles and other interior materials.
• Have good knowledge of modular kitchen components including carcass, shutters, drawers, tandem boxes, hinges, channels, baskets, lift-up systems, corner units and other hardware.
• Conduct regular quality checks during and after production.
• Identify and resolve production errors, measurement issues and material wastage.
• Minimize material wastage, rework and production defects.
• Coordinate with the site team regarding measurements, installation requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure finished products are properly packed and dispatched to the correct project/site.
• Track project-wise production status and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage production manpower and allocate work according to project priorities.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of production machinery.
• Coordinate with purchase/procurement for timely availability of materials and hardware.
• Handle production-related issues and take corrective action to avoid project delays.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 5–6 years of relevant experience in interior furniture / modular furniture production.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing.
• Excellent understanding of cutting files and production drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC, panel saw, edge banding, drilling and other furniture manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of interior materials, hardware and fittings.
• Ability to read and understand 2D drawings, dimensions and furniture details.
• Knowledge of production planning, material planning and manpower management.
• Strong quality-control and problem-solving skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in an interior design/furniture manufacturing company, especially in modular kitchens, wardrobes and customized residential interiors. Candidates with experience in production planning, cutting-file verification, factory management and site coordination will be preferred.

Salary

30,000 – 40,000 per month, depending on experience, technical knowledge and previous salary.
