Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet targets and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring maximum productivity and efficient resource utilization.
  • Lead and manage production managers, supervisors, and shop floor personnel.
  • Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, rejection, rework, downtime, and OEE.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Design, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, Stores, and Quality for seamless operations.
  • Optimize manpower allocation and machine utilization to hit targets.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Experience:

10+ Years (Preferably in the Interior Manufacturing, Modular Furniture, Woodworking, Plywood, Joinery, or Factory Manufacturing Industry)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business targets and customer delivery schedules.
  • Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring maximum productivity and efficient resource utilization.
  • Lead and manage production managers, supervisors, and shop floor personnel.
  • Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, rejection, rework, downtime, and OEE.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Design, Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, Stores, and Quality departments for seamless operations.
  • Optimize manpower allocation and machine utilization to achieve production targets.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental, and company policies.
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • Review production reports and prepare MIS for senior management.
  • Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support new product development by coordinating with engineering and design teams.
  • Plan workforce training and enhance employee productivity and skill development.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed in coordination with the maintenance team.
  • Drive employee engagement and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Compensation:

1,200,000.00 - 1,500,000.00 per year
