Larsen & Toubro is seeking a seasoned professional in Gujarat to lead the operation and maintenance of Plant & Machinery. You will ensure assets stay reliable, manage spares supply with vendors, and maintain accurate inventories while training operators and mechanics.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordination with suppliers, and developing a skilled workforce to minimize downtime and keep production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical required.
• 10-15 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of Plant & Machinery.
• Experience with foundation equipment and all ancillary equipment, accessories & tools.

Responsibilities

• Keep all P&M assets in good working condition with minimum downtime.
• Network with vendors and OEMs for timely supply of spares and accessories.

Job Description

Ensure that all P&M assets are kept in good working condition and maintained with least downtime.

Networking with vendors and OEM suppliers for timely supply of spares/accessories/tools etc.

Effective inventory management and documentation.

Devise methods to train operators / mechanics and develop skilled workforce for effective operation.

Identify obsolete P&M and arrange for disposal and replacement
