Job summary

PeopleStrong in India seeks a Lead – Plant & Machinery (P&M) for site operations. You will manage plant, machinery, construction equipment and utilities deployed at project sites to support timely execution.

You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance, lead breakdown troubleshooting, and coordinate with technicians, OEMs and vendors to restore operations quickly while ensuring safety and cost efficiency. This role is on-site and requires strong leadership and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of plant, machinery and construction equipment at project sites.
• Ensure optimum availability, reliability, safe operation and cost-effective utilization.

Job Description

The Lead – Plant & Machinery (P&M) – Site will be responsible for the end-to-end management of plant, machinery, construction equipment, and associated utilities deployed at project sites. The role will ensure optimum equipment availability, reliability,safe operation, and cost-effective utilization to support project execution as per planned schedules and operational requirements.The incumbent will lead P&M activities covering equipment planning and deployment, operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance,erection and commissioning, manpower allocation, construction power management, spare-parts control, statutory and EHS compliance, and performance monitoring.Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and periodic maintenance schedules for critical plant and machinery to minimize breakdowns and equipment downtime. Lead breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis while coordinating with technicians, OEMs, service providers, and vendors for timely restoration
