Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Odisha seeks an experienced professional to oversee Operation & Maintenance of Plant & Machinery for foundation equipment. You will ensure assets are kept in good working condition, manage downtime, and coordinate with stores and vendors.

The role requires BE/B.Tech in Mechanical and about 15 years of hands-on experience with cranes, piling rigs, drilling machines, hydraulics and mechatronics is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
• 15 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of Plant & Machinery relating to latest foundation equipment including all ancillary equipment, accessories & tools.
• Experience with large construction oriented P&M machines like Cutter, Cranes, Piling rigs, Drilling machines is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all P&M assets in good working condition with minimal downtime.
• Network with vendors and OEM suppliers for timely supply of spares, accessories and tools.
• Ensure effective inventory management and documentation.
• Devise methods to train operators and mechanics and develop a skilled workforce for effective operation.
• Identify obsolete P&M and arrange for disposal and replacement.
