Job description

The Order Management Associate supports the end-to-end processing of sales orders and renewal quotations, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and on-time delivery. This role follows established processes and policies to manage complex and high-volume orders, coordinates with internal teams to resolve order-related issues, and ensures compliance with booking policies and internal controls (including SOX). There may be limited customer interaction depending on the situation.

About the Role

This role involves supporting the end-to-end processing of sales orders and renewal quotations, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Review and process order documentation (“order packs”) submitted by Sales to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Sales to resolve gaps or non-compliance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Enter and manage orders in Salesforce and NetSuite (or similar CRM/ERP systems), ensuring all required fields are updated for smooth handoffs to internal teams and accurate customer entitlement.
  • Confirm that required approvals and signatures are obtained prior to order booking.
  • Process credits, rebills, and sales-related RMA (Return Material Authorization) activities.
  • Track and manage order holds and backlog for the assigned region or business area.
  • Develop a working understanding of product and support offerings, pricing rules, and programs to maintain order accuracy.
  • Follow defined processes and contribute to continuous improvement in order processing and documentation.
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of experience in Order Management, Sales Operations, or a similar role (internships also considered).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Commerce, Operations, or similar).
  • Ability to pass a background check, if required.
  • Ability to work extended hours during quarter-end or peak volume periods.
  • Role involves prolonged sitting and computer-based work.
Required Skills
  • Basic knowledge of order-to-cash or order management processes.
  • Exposure to CRM/ERP systems preferred (Salesforce and NetSuite experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Clear and timely communication skills, including the ability to explain order issues and required actions to Sales and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to learn a complex product suite and follow compliance-driven procedures.
  • Comfortable solving problems of moderate complexity by reviewing data, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.
  • Willingness to seek guidance from senior team members when handling unfamiliar or complex scenarios.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite.
Pay range and compensation package

3.5 - 4 Lakh Maximum
