Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager to lead and deliver Oracle projects across EBS and Cloud. You will work with customers to confirm scope, goals, benefits and business justification, secure resources, budgets and approvals, and drive delivery across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include overseeing detailed project plans, controlling changes, proactively mitigating risks, tracking progress, reporting to Steering Groups and Sponsors, and ensuring delivery is in line

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Oracle projects end to end.
• Delivery and implementation experience in a consultancy or SI.
• Leading and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
• PM experience in Oracle Applications using AIM and OUM.

• Successfully managing the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle projects.
• Confirm scope, goals, objectives and business justification with customers and secure resources.
• Lead project plans, in-line with time, cost and quality.
• Manage customer expectations and scope creep.
• Control Change Requests and sign off prior to work.
• Monitor and report progress to Steering Group/Sponsor and Version 1 stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues; maintain budget and P&L ownership.
• Communicate delivery strategy and interdependencies across stakeholders.

Job Description

Are you an established Oracle Project Manager with expertise looking for the opportunity to lead anddeliver projects across multiple sectors & industries? How does working with an Oracle ERP Partner of the year and ERP Managed Services Partner of the year sound to you? Here at Version 1, we are currently in the market for experienced Project Managers for our growing Oracle Practice across EBS and Cloud.

You will be:

• Successfully managing the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle projects.
• Working with the customer to confirm scope and goals, objectives and business justification and secure resources (people and budget)
• Leading, overseeing the progress of project plans, in-line with time, cost and quality.
• Managing customer expectations, to closely monitor and manage scope creep.
• Managing the agreed scope of the project, ensuring Change Requests are clearly identified, agreed with the customer for sign off prior to work commencing.
• Assisting the customer project manager with monitoring tasks and progress of customer specific activities.
• Controlling and reporting progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor, and internally within Version 1 senior stakeholders and escalating any issues.
• Continually assessing potential risks and issues.
• Monitoring and communication of decisions made by the customer.
• Closely monitoring and reporting on project budget and ownership for P&L targets against your projects.
• Leading an effective communication strategy for the project
• Identifying inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.
• Ensuring appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and managing the availability and performance of those consultants.
• Assisting in pre-sales and business development opportunities
• Manage escalations appropriately to avoid any impact on overall delivery.
• Ensure delivery is consistent with the agreed delivery model and standards.

Qualifications

• 7 Years and above experience
• Implementing Oracle projects end to end
• Delivery and implementationworking for a consultancy / systems integrator.
• Leading and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
• Project Management experience in delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methods
• Prince 2 or similar
• Microsoft Project
• Fixed price/budget, commercial and customer experience
• Governance (Gate Control, Status Reporting)
• Stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills (written/verbal) across all levels
• Experience of ServiceNow would be advantageous
• A self starter who is well organised and can manage their workload effectively
