Talpro India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant for ORC, Core HR, and Absence Management to work on the North American shift under a 6-month contract. The role requires strong requirement gathering, design, configuration, client interaction, and end-to-end HCM Cloud delivery.

• 8+ years of Oracle HCM functional experience.
• Strong configuration, implementation & client-facing experience in ORC, Core HR and Absence.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations for NA clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional delivery across ORC, Core HR, and Absence modules in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and provide design.
• Configure modules and manage end-to-end setup activities.
• Support data migration and validation during transitions to Oracle Cloud.
• Manage setup migration DEV → TEST → PROD across environments.
• Participate in CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment and hypercare cycles.
• Collaborate with global teams, especially NA-based clients.
• Own delivery with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in ORC (Oracle Recruiting Cloud), Core HR, and Absence Management . The consultant must be highly skilled in requirement gathering, configuration, solution design, client interaction, and end-to-end HCM Cloud implementation.

This role requires working in the North American shift , engaging with global stakeholders, and managing delivery across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Lead functional delivery across ORC, Core HR, and Absence modules in Oracle HCM Cloud.

Conduct client workshops , gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and provide functional solution designs.

Perform module configuration and end-to-end setup activities.

Support data migration activities and validation during transitions to Oracle Cloud.

Manage setup migration from non-production to production environments (DEV → TEST → PROD).

Work on implementation project cycles — CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, and hypercare.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across global teams, especially North America-based clients .

Manage functional delivery with minimal supervision and strong ownership.

Handle multiple parallel tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Participate in meetings aligned with NA time zones .

Travel as required by business engagements.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 8+ years of Oracle HCM Functional experience.

ORC (full recruitment lifecycle, job requisitions, job offers, approvals, configurations)

Core HR (HCM structures, workforce structures, person management, employment flows)

Absence (accrual plans, absence types, eligibility, fast formulas—preferred)

Extensive experience in:

Full-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations

Requirement gathering & functional documentation

Data migration and validation

Setup migration between environments

Test planning, SIT/UAT support

Strong understanding of HR processes, business flows, and cross-module interactions.

Excellent communication & stakeholder management, especially with NA teams.

Ability to work independently and handle client-facing engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to additional modules like Talent, Compensation, or OTL.

Understanding of quarterly Oracle Cloud patches & regression testing.

Experience integrating HCM Cloud with external systems.
