Job summary

Birlasoft Ltd. is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Time and Labor (OTL) to lead functional activities and deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role involves gathering requirements, configuring Time Entry, categories, rules, approvals, integrations with Payroll and Absence, and supporting SIT, UAT and Go-Live.

Candidates should have 7+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience and excellent stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud Functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM OTL / Time and Labor.
• Experience leading functional activities and requirement gathering.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle HCM Cloud - Time and Labor (OTL) functional activities.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM functional solutions.
• Configure Time and Labor including Time Entry, Time Categories, Time Calculation Rules, Time Processing and Time Approval Workflows.
• Configure and support OTL integrations with Payroll and Absence.
• Support end-to-end implementation activities: requirements gathering, configuration, SIT, UAT and Go-Live.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.

• Lead functional activities for Oracle HCM Cloud - Time and Labor (OTL).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM functional solutions.
• Configure Time and Labor including:
• Time Entry
• Time Categories
• Time Consumer Sets
• Time Calculation Rules
• Time Entry Profiles
• Time Processing
• Time Validation
• Time Approval Workflows
• Worker Time Entry
• Configure and support OTL integrations with Payroll and Absence.
• Work with Fast Formula for time calculation and validation requirements.
• Configure time rules based on business requirements, including overtime, shifts, rounding and working hours.
• Support end-to-end implementation activities including requirement gathering, configuration, SIT, UAT and Go-Live.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and project managers.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents and test scenarios.

7+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud Functional experience

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM OTL / Time and Labor

At least one end-to-end Oracle HCM implementation

Strong understanding of OTL configuration and time processing

Experience with Time Entry, Time Calculation and Time Approval

Good knowledge of Fast Formula

Experience integrating OTL with Payroll and Absence

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle Redwood HCM
• Knowledge of HDL/HSDL
• Exposure to OTBI/BIP reporting
• Knowledge of Oracle HCM integrations and REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience in global/multi-country Oracle HCM implementations
