Job summary

Eye Q in Haryana, Jhajjar is seeking a retail optical sales associate to assist customers with eyewear and vision-related needs, explain options, and help choose frames and lenses.

You will measure accurately, place orders, liaise with optometrists and lab vendors, maintain records and stock, and strive to meet monthly sales targets while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their eyewear and vision-related requirements.
• Explain and recommend suitable frames, lenses, sunglasses and other optical products based on prescription and customer needs.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Generate sales through walk-in customers and follow up with potential customers.
• Coordinate with optometrists and the clinical team for prescription-related requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper order placement.
• Explain lens options, coatings, pricing, offers and delivery timelines to customers.
• Maintain proper records of orders, payments, deliveries and customer details.
• Coordinate with the laboratory vendor for timely processing and delivery of orders.
• Ensure proper display, stock availability and merchandising of optical products.
• Handle customer queries, complaints and product-related concerns professionally.
• Promote repeat purchases, referrals and customer relationships.
• Ensure the optical area is clean, organised and presentable.
• Follow company policies, billing procedures and inventory control processes.
