Position: Soldering Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for an Experienced SolderingOperator with 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in manual soldering,PCB assembly, rework, and repair. The ideal candidate should have strongknowledge of through-hole and SMD soldering techniques and be able to producehigh-quality electronic assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings,work instructions, and quality standards.

KeyResponsibilities
- Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs,including through-hole and SMD components.
- Carry out PCB rework, desoldering, component replacement, andrepair of defective electronic assemblies.
- Assemble electronic products according to engineering drawings,work instructions, BOMs, and quality requirements.
- Inspect solder joints and assembled PCBs for defects such asinsufficient solder, solder bridges, cold joints, lifted pads, andcomponent misalignment.
- Identify soldering and assembly defects and perform appropriate reworkand corrective actions.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), safety, and handlingprocedures during all production activities.
- Operate soldering stations, soldering irons, hot-air/reworkstations, and other related equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform visual inspection and quality checks to ensure assembliesmeet specified workmanship standards.
- Maintain proper 5S, cleanliness, and organization of theworkstation and production area.
- Maintain good communication with production, quality, andengineering teams to resolve assembly and rework issues.
- Complete production and inspection records accurately as required.
- Work independently as well as effectively within a team to meetproduction targets and quality requirements.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in manual soldering, PCB assembly, and PCBrework/desoldering.
- Strong experience in through-hole (THT) and SMD componentsoldering.
- Practical experience in electronic assembly, PCB rework,component replacement, and repair.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings,circuit/assembly diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Good knowledge of soldering tools, soldering stations, reworkstations, and related electronic assembly equipment.
- Ability to identify common soldering defects and PCB assemblydefects and perform effective rework.
- Experience in inspection, rework, and quality control ofelectronic assemblies.
- Good knowledge of ESD handling and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in aerospace and defense PCB assembly.
- IPC J-STD-001 / IPC-A-610 certification orrelevant soldering certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with IPC Class 2/Class 3 workmanship requirements is preferred.
