Job summary

Ahoysys is seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hand-soldering SMD components, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities include soldering and inspecting PCBs under magnification and maintaining ESD-sensitive components. This is a hands-on, full-time position with a salary range of ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month based on experience.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team in Gurgaon. The candidate will be responsible for hand-soldering and rework of SMD components on PCBs, with a strong focus on quality and precision. This is a hands-on, full-time production role.

Responsibilities

• Hand-solder 0402 and other SMD components on PCBs to IPC or equivalent quality standards
• Perform soldering, rework, and repair of surface-mount assemblies under magnification
• Inspect solder joints visually and with magnification tools; identify and correct defects
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation; handle ESD-sensitive components correctly
• Track and record production quantities, defects, and rework activities
• Coordinate with QC and design teams to flag recurring issues or component placement concerns

Required Qualifications / Skills

• 1–2 years of proven hands-on experience in SMD soldering, specifically 0402 or finer components
• Steady hands and good eyesight (aided or unaided); comfortable working under magnification for extended periods
• Working knowledge of PCB assembly processes and component types (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors)
• Familiarity with soldering irons, hot-air rework stations, and basic inspection tools
• Awareness of ESD precautions and safe handling of electronic components
• ITI in Electronics / Electricals, or a Diploma in Electronics Engineering preferred; equivalent practical experience also considered

Highly Desired

• Experience operating small SMT pick-and-place machines or reflow ovens
• Ability to manage the full PCB mounting production cycle — from paste application through reflow and inspection
• Familiarity with solder paste printing, stencil alignment, and AOI processes
