Impact Water Co. is seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Associate in Mumbai to run our on-ground logistics—from factories to warehouses to customers.

This role demands proactive problem solving, ownership, and the ability to manage vendors and transportation end-to-end. You’ll coordinate with manufacturing partners, plan production, and ensure on-time movement of products while maintaining inventory control across sites.

Responsibilities

At Impact Water, we're looking for an Operations & Supply Chain Associate who doesn't just track problems on a spreadsheet — you solve them, fast, before they become a bigger headache. We're building a brand-new category in India's beverage space, and this role is the engine room that makes that actually possible on the ground — factories, vendors, warehouses, the works.

What you’ll actually do

• Coordinate directly with our manufacturing partners and factories
• Plan production and get product moving, on time, every time
• Own dispatches, transportation and logistics end-to-end
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and transporters to keep things moving smoothly
• Keep tabs on inventory across warehouses — no surprises
• Be the go-to person for vendors, transporters and internal teams
• Make sure orders land with customers when they're supposed to
• Spot bottlenecks before they slow everyone down, and fix them
• Work directly with the founders on real operational fires (the good kind of fire drill)

This is not a "sit at a desk and update sheets all day" job. There will be factories, warehouses, calls, vendors, trucks, deadlines — and problems that need solving right now, not next week.

What we’re looking for

• Someone who takes initiative and ownership without being told to
• Genuinely excited to learn on the job and try things you’ve never done before
• Willing to put in the effort to help build a brand-new category in India’s beverage space, from day one
• 0–2 years of experience, or a solid internship/project under your belt
• Organised, detail-obsessed, allergic to loose ends
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and can pick up the phone and talk to a vendor without overthinking it
• Stays calm when a truck is late and the client is not happy
