Junior Procurement & Inventory Executive

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Junior Procurement & Inventory Executive to support day‑to‑day purchase and stock management activities at our packaged drinking water bottling facility. The role involves sourcing materials, maintaining stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely availability of inputs for uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Assist in sourcing raw materials, packaging items (bottles, caps, labels), and plant consumables.
- Raise purchase orders and track delivery timelines.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
- Support vendor evaluation and maintain price/quality records.
Inventory Management
- Monitor and update stock levels in inventory management systems.
- Conduct daily/weekly physical stock checks and reconcile with records.
- Flag low‑stock or overstock situations proactively.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) practices.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate between stores, production, and accounts for smooth workflow.
- Maintain purchase and inventory documentation as per SOPs.
- Support audits, quality checks, and inward/outward material documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement/inventory, preferably in FMCG, bottling/packaging or manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of inventory tools or Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment.
