Yellosa in India seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead regional logistics, transportation, and asset management. You will drive efficiency, cost control, and service reliability while coaching multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong track record in shipping operations, budgeting, and vendor management, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, port operations.
• Proven track record in operational management, including planning, execution, performance monitoring, and process optimisation.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping operations, vessel scheduling, customs regulations, import/export procedures, and logistics best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, vendor relationships, and customer service performance.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with customers, suppliers, port authorities, and internal teams.
